Water Monitoring
Monitoring of water bodies such as reservoirs are essential for every country's national security. there are thousands of water resevoirs in Bulgaria. Their purpose is for either drinking, irrigation or fishing. Regardless of the its usage or size of the water body each reservoirs can be both significant and dangerous.
Timeline of the Water Surface
Artificial water bodies, are dynamic, meaning that wate availability is controlled accordint to the season. For example, towrads the end of the summer, water reservoirs are released in a controlled manner to create space to snowmelt water. Consequently, during the spring the water bodies are relatively full, which can be bothe beneficial for drinking and irrigation needs, but also dangerous for the public and the environment.
